From and working in London, B. 1991.

I explore the liminal space between inner worlds. A realm where dreams, memory, and imagination collapse into one. The figures in the painting occupy a domestic scene that seems to dissolve into Liminal spaces, as if the fabric of everyday life has become permeable, letting the universe seep in. The glowing, ghostly forms suggest a presence that is both there and not there—specters of thought, memory, or other dimensions.

A quiet moment, a room, a body, or a gaze can connect to something far larger than itself. Time is warped, figures are translucent, and boundaries blur, reflecting the hazy terrain of human consciousness and emotion.

Using layered brushstrokes and subdued, almost melancholic tones punctuated by luminous accents, I wanted the painting to feel like a moment suspended—haunting, soft, and expansive. It's an invitation to dwell in ambiguity and to see within the shadows not emptiness, but a portal.

This work is part of a broader inquiry into perception, presence, and the mysteries that dwell in the unnoticed corners of our lives.
